The 505 Project

While change is inevitable, we cannot forget our past.  The city of Albuquerque has been a vital part of the history and culture of what is now New Mexico for over 300 years.  Some might say that Albuquerque's glory rests in some of the remains of the Mother Road, Route 66, the drive-ins, the theaters, and the ghosts of the 40s, 50s, and 60s.  The 505 project (505 was the telephone area code for New Mexico as a state, and is currently the area code for Albuquerque and the surrounding area) was a photographic search for some of the vanishing landmarks around Albuquerque and a way to honor their legacy.
